Manny Pacquiao wants new direction; Floyd Mayweather still remains mysterious

While Floyd Mayweather is still hesitant to reveal his future opponent, Manny Pacquiao, who has loss to Mayweather on May 2 is thinking of the possibility of running to a much higher position in the Philippine government. In an interview with Ben Serrano ofphilstar.com Saturday, July 25, the Sarangani, Province representative confirmed that he is still undecided to run for senator in next year’s elections.
“Frankly from scale 1 to 100, it’s still 50-50 in my chances to run for senator in 2016 although I must admit I have plans but it will all depend on the plans and wishes of our creator for me,” Manny Pacquiao said.
Allegedly, the future hall of famer and former pound pound king is still waiting for a sign from God before he announce his candidacy. Manny is not new to politics, in fact, he serves his constituents (as a congressman) while he is also attending his duties in the boxing ring. In short, Manny can handle his commitments to people in and outside the boxing ring.
After his unanimous decision loss to Floyd Mayweather on May 2nd, Pacquiao visit his fellow Filipino in Indonesia, (an alleged victim of the African-American Drug Syndicate). In the Philippines, Manny has offered his hard earned money just to build houses not only for his constituents but also for the less fortunate.
Right now, he is spreading the word of God and recovering from his rotator cuff injury. Manny is expected to return to the ring next year. He still wants to have a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, but because of the latter’s announcement, the rematch is impossible to happen. Incidentally, Floyd is scheduled to fight this coming September; and if a report is really true, he will step in the ring with Andre Berto.
