Carl Frampton has had a few days to think about and analyse his IBF World title defence in El Paso last weekend.
The Belfast super-bantamweight won the fight against Alejandro Gonzalez Jr on a unanimous points decision after being dropped twice in the first round.
It was a disappointing start to a clash that Frampton went on win by a wide margin on the judges scorecards.
And Frampton - back home in Northern Ireland - says some lessons will have to be learnt from their USA adventure.
“I think as a team, we probably overlooked this guy a bit and we thought it was going to be much easier than it was.
“I hold my hand up, I think I overlooked him a bit, I thought it was going to be much easier than it was.
“He was a young Mexican, he had a young family, he had a big chance to upset me and he went out and had a brilliant first round. But luckily enough I pulled it back and got the win.
“The kid was a good fighter, very clever, I think he can do something in the future.”
