Amir, 28, and his wife Faryal Makhdoom, 24, are being protected by an army of gun-toting security guards in case of a Taliban attack.
He posted a number of pictures on Instagram and Twitter showing the size of his security team.
Amir said: “Police protocol front and back Lahore. This doesn’t mean it’s not a safe country. It is what it is. #Pakistan.”
The boxer spoke out against the Taliban following an attack on a Peshawar school where 132 pupils were gunned down last December.
