Ronda Rousey thinks she could beat Floyd Mayweather? In no rules competition

Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather are some of the best fighters in the world, but their feud makes it sound like they don’t like each other very much. Fans have always wondered what might happen if the two stars got in the same ring to fight until a winner emerged. According to ESPN on Tuesday, Ronda Rousey was asked about this scenario during her AMA Reddit interview and the answer was surprising.
Rousey believes that in a no rules competition she could beat Floyd Mayweather. This wouldn’t be a boxing match and it definitely wouldn’t be under the same rules she fights other competitors. Instead it would be without any guidelines and the winner would come out walking. The interesting scenario has fans wondering if Floyd Mayweather would even consider fighting Ronda Rousey without being in a boxing ring. Add that Mayweather relishes all the traditional fanfare that comes with a bout and he might not be interested if his competitor could possibly get more attention.
The other potential fighter that Ronda Rousey fans are talking about is Cris "Cyborg" Justino. The two have been blasting each other with a war of words on social media, but the alleged checkered past of Cyborg has people wondering if it will ever happen. The weight difference is a stumbling block as well. According to Bleacher Report on Tuesday, Cyborg is a 145-pound champion, while Rousey operates at a 135-pound limit. Ronda Rousey has been taunting her potential competitor by suggesting she could lose some weight.
Ronda Rousey has quite a few opponents who could potentially fight her. The question is whether there will be rules and how much money will be on the table before she steps up to throw a punch. As the fans watch this all play out, it might be possible a big match is right around the corner with Ronda Rousey calling the shots.
