Lennox Lewis, Marvin Hagler criticize Floyd Mayweather for declaring himself The Best Ever

In an interview during the induction ceremony of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame held at the Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas Nevada last Aug 8, Floyd Mayweather, a fighter who received the NBHOF award for “Fighter of the Year” reiterated his previous claim that he is “The Best Ever.”
You guys know that he has an unblemished ring record (48-0), just a win away from Rocky Marciano's 49-0, a heavyweight champion that retired unbeaten. Maybe, some boxing experts have agreed to Mayweather’s claim, but if you ask the opinion of former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, he will just tell you that Floyd Mayweather is just proclaiming himself as TBE but the real truth is, Floyd is not.
For Lennox, he is still the best in the history of boxing. When it was his turn to deliver his speech, he castigated the pound for pound king. “Floyd really took up a lot of time and then he ran out and he said he’s the best fighter ever, well, I have something to say about that. I’m the last undisputed heavyweight champion. I fell I am the best ever,” Lennox Lewis commented.
Meanwhile, if Lennox was castigating the current pound for pound,Marvelous Marvin Hagler, a fighter who demolished almost all of his competitor in the ring during his prime was also criticizing Floyd Mayweather during the induction ceremony of NBHOF at the Caesar’s Palace in Ls Vegas, Nevada.
In a separate interview, Hagler said Rocky Marciano’s ring record (49-0) is more impressive than Floyd’s 50-0. "You got to realize that Floyd is not a heavyweight fighter like Marciano. If it was 50 fights in the heavyweight division, I believe it would be the story and make history. I don't think because Mayweather wins this 50th fight or whatever, it is not going to be the same as if he was a heavyweight," Hagler commented when asked to say something about Floyd's legacy.
Incidentally, Floyd is scheduled to meet Andre Berto in the ring on Sept. 12, his supposed last fight with the biggest network Showtime. He said hewill hang up his gloves after the fight.
