Kayode, 20-0-0 (16KOS), is poised for his comeback since his No Contest bout with Cuban Luiz Ortiz. The 32-year-old confirmed to InformationNigeria.com on Tuesday that Kisner 14-1-1 (5KOs) has agreed a 10 round contest; a main card, which will be broadcast live on CBS sports network on 29 May.
Ortiz vacated the WBA interim heavyweight belt months after scoring a first round TKO against Kayode at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, having tested positive for banned steroid nandrolone post-fight.
‘Power’ accounted for Americans Travis Fulton and Jonte Willis in 2013 and January 2014 respectively, both prior to Ortiz in TKOs.
The fight is subject to ratifications by relevant commissions.
