Floyd Mayweather: Ronda Rousey looking for publicity, will never be at my status

The war of words between Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey continues.
Earlier this week the MMA star said that she makes more money per second than Floyd Mayweather, a dubious claim given that the pound-for-pound king made more than $220 million for his fight against Manny Pacquiao.
“I don’t know if you saw the Floyd thing, he said, ‘If you make $300 million in a night you can give me a call,'” Rousey said to TMZ Sports. “I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight I’m actually the highest paid UFC fighter, and I’m a woman. I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second. When he learns to read and write, he can text me. … I’m just a little bit more efficient.”
Floyd, who is gearing up for his Sept. 12 bout against Andre Berto, fired back Thursday in a statement to TMZ through a team member:
“Big bank take little bank. Let’s play and see how much money you got. Last time I checked I was No. 1 on Forbes’ (highest-paid athletes list). She will never be at my status. Keep trying to get publicity.”
Your turn, Rousey.
