For many sport can be an inspiration, while for others a savior. For Kelvin Lueshing it gave him the strength to survive and shine the light on the terrible abuse he suffered as a child.
Kelvin grew in south London in 1970,and suffered horrific physical abuse in the hands of his father and sexual abuse from a peodophile who groomed him at a young age.His life spiralled out of control and got in trouble with authorities.
It was only when he began boxing that he started the long road to recognition that he came to term with what happened to him.
Former British champion has just released a biography" Belt Boy " which started with a graphic account of the abused by his father.
