A baby girl has been sold by her teenage father online for £2,480 - so that he could reportedly buy himself an iPhone and a motorbike. Dad, A Duan, has admitted in court that he exchanged his 18-day-old child for cash. The biological mum, identified only as Xiao Mei, says that she "didn’t know that it was illegal". The parents, from Tong’an, in the eastern coastal province of Fujian, sold the child a year ago, according to the Xiamen Daily News.
