The international Olympic committee has confirmed that this year Olympic their will be no head gear for male amateur boxers. All men amateur boxing has being contested without head gear for the past 2years but this will be the first in the Olympic since 1984 that amateurs boxer will be contesting at the Rio Olympic event without a head gear.
